sdb > This is the 777 I boarded in Newark NJ, bound for Hong Kong. Although, not a bad experience, the 8K+ mile trip was not on my list of ways to spend about 15 hours. Fortunately, the flight was running a little bit ahead of schedule.

sdb > This is just one peace of the shopping district inside of the Hong Kong Airport departure terminal. Its litteraly a small city under one roof. Notice how no space is wasted, the roofs of the shops contains resturants and other businesses.

sdb > I took this shot just around the corner from the Regal Airport Hotel, where I was staying. I estimate the distance between the blue signes to be 50 to 75 yards. Considering I entered at the far end, it was and interesting walk.

sdb > State side hotels lock up the mini-bar. This creates a very nice artistic statement. Wine - HK$99, Spirits - HK$60. The least expensive snack was about HK$25. My exchange rate was 7.1 HK$ to US$.

sdb > Very cozy. The trayed ceiling has indirect remote lights. The room has a very modern artistic feeling.

sdb > Just another shot of my room. Notice the cool inverse lighting in the ceiling tray.
